Jeremy Stelter is President of The Stelter Company, a leading provider of gift planning marketing solutions for the nonprofit community. Founded in 1962 by Jeremy’s grandfather, Paul, Stelter partners with more than 1,200 nonprofits nationwide. Jeremy joined Stelter in 2002 and has spent more than two decades helping nonprofits build and grow successful gift planning programs. Today, he is part of the Leadership team that helps lead Stelter’s mission, vision and future while continuing to work closely with nonprofit partners and clients.
A frequent speaker at national and regional conferences, Jeremy shares insights on multichannel marketing, donor relationships, and trends shaping fundraising and philanthropy. He serves on the board of the American Council of Gift Annuities and has been involved with the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable since 2005.
A University of Iowa graduate, Jeremy is a third-generation Stelter. Outside of work, he enjoys running, golf, guitar, trout fishing and spending time outdoors with his wife, Michelle, their two children and four dogs.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love getting to work with thousands of incredible people and organizations and helping them make a meaningful difference in the world.
When did you secure your first charitable gift annuity?
As a marketing firm we don’t actually secure CGAs but we do work with over 1100 nonprofits and help hundreds of them with their marketing and lead generation so that they can secure CGAs.
When you’re not at work, what are your passions?
My family (wife Michelle, children Sam and Lucy), our 4 dogs, music, travel and outdoor adventures (snowboarding, fishing, hiking, golfing)
If you could learn one new personal skill, what would it be?
My Grandfather Paul who started our company in 1962 was a passionate Jazz Pianist and I’d love to be able to sit down at a piano and play beautifully and effortlessly, with grace and feeling.
